Maximizing The Value Of Data In Your Work Order System
Presenter: Mike Vorster, Ph.D.

Work order codes are a treasure trove of data about individual machines as well as the performance of the maintenance enterprise as a whole. This session builds the skills needed to design and use a multi-dimensional work order coding system that unlocks the treasure trove and provides the data needed to calculate critical key performance indicators. Emphasis is placed on the fact that a well-designed work order coding system collects relevant data with very little effort, and makes it possible to lower costs and improve both the efficiency and the effectiveness of the maintenance enterprise. The session concludes with a strong call for industry standard codes to improve maintenance practices and facilitate benchmarking.

Insightful Solutions For Telematics Deployment
Presenter: Casey Dowling, CEM

Using a case study on deploying a specific technology solution, this session will illustrate the key criteria and critical information to consider when investigating, planning, and implementing any new technology solution within your organization. How do you know if it will be worth the investment? How do you decide which solution is best for the specific needs of your organization? This case study will assume equipment telematics as the example technology to be deployed and provide insight on this challenging process.
